Is Recording a phone call a Crime?

As we know, many of us are not aware of this fact. But the answer is- YES, if you are recording or tapping the phone call, without the concern of other person then you are committing a crime.

As per regulation you can't use any tapped conversation as a evidence, it will not consider as a evidence. So the people who thinks to record the call as a evidence, let me clear it out that it is not a good practice.

These days privacy is considered as big issue, so thinking of doing it is a big crime. It can be only done by taking permission from Telegraph authority.

Before starting, let me be very clear to the readers that this is only applicable to Airtel Post-paid number only. So here is the step you need to follow:-  Find some problem in the service like- Network problem, Slow internet speed problem or Call dropping message. Take a screen-shot of the speed test or no network or call drop message. Send the mail to an appellate team.  Find out the mail id of appellate team of your region  https://www.airtel.in/applications/xm/MobileAppellateAuth.jsp   Mail them, and explain your problem and asked them to wave off the bill otherwise you will port to another carrier or ask for the discount on this current plan.
